PAUILLAC CHATEAU CROIZET BAGES - 2005

A boire 2008-2018 selon Robert Parker
BORDEAUX - PAUILLAC - ROUGE
though this is a solid effort, for a classified growth Pauillac, expectations are considerably higher. The dark ruby-hued 2005 Croizet Bages reveals a moderately intense nose of cedar, roasted herbs, sweet cherry and currant fruit, damp earth, and fresh mushrooms. This superficial, medium-bodied, elegant Pauillac possesses good acidity as well as soft tannins. It should be drunk over the next decade.Source : Robert Parker Aromas of currants and hints of fresh herbs follow through to a full-bodied palate, with medium tannins and a fresh finish. Slightly green flavors and tannins. Score range: 80-84 -JS Source : Wine Spectator
